I took my first class in December of 2011 and was immediately hooked. Long distance running left me with achy joints, I was full of stress an anxiety and a friend suggested I try Bikram yoga. After that first class I was amazed at how great I felt, physically and mentally. Just nine months in the fall of 2012, my toes were on the line at teacher training!
My favorite thing about teaching Bikram yoga is hearing students talk about how much their quality of life has improved simply by practicing this amazing yoga. I strive to teach with humor, compassion, strong dialogue and a cat story or two.
